Amsterdam Bike City is the platform for sharing cycling knowledge, insight and experience.
The bicycle is important in Amsterdam, the region and the Netherlands. As transport mode and as to help make the city and the region liveable, safe and accessible. For over 40 years, Amsterdam and the region have been working on making cycling safe, easy and enjoyable for everyone. This makes Amsterdam an inspiring example for other cities and regions that want to become a cycling city.
Via Amsterdam Bike City we want share our knowledge and experience about cycling with everyone, in the Netherlands and abroad. And we can learn from ambitions and initiatives from others.
We make this unique knowledge available via the bicycle platform Amsterdam Bike City. We do this through this website, with events and with a Bicycle Innovation Lab. In addition, we can learn from the ambitions and initiatives from other parts of the Netherlands and abroad. We therefore give others the opportunity to share their knowledge and submit questions to us.
